Our Ego, the negative aspect of our personality, loves drama, lives on it, and needs it to survive! Drama is its fuel, like gasoline in a car! The Ego thrives on negativity and life’s drama, in any way, shape, or form! Drama is the way in which the Ego expresses itself, communicates, and relates to other Egos.
One of the most important spiritual tasks in our early incarnations is to recognize and be aware of our Ego and dis-identify from it and discipline it. Growing spirituality, aligning ourselves with our souls and with spirits, help us do this. On the other hand, when we seek, feed-into, or create drama by fighting, arguing, bullying, or bickering, just to name a few, we strengthen the Ego’s energy and “feed” it, rather than disciplining it!
Authentically review your life and examine how much drama is in it, why, and who causes it, including you! Then, tweak your life toward the direction of no drama, by disciplining yourself and whoever and whatever triggers you to engage in it! If you happen to “fall of the wagon”, which most likely will occur, quickly regroup so your Ego will not suck you in a drama filled life again.
Also, always do your best to go AGAINST the tendencies of your Ego’s automatic negative reactions. When you feel that you are ready to react and engage with drama, count to ten and stay focused, calm, kind, and non-reactive.
Bottom line; when you see drama, run fast… the other way!
Good luck!
Much love to you, lovely people??
