Last week I read to a father who lost his young wife to an illness. He was so sad, and felt so lost and lonely. He was crying so hard, and then, his wife came through….
In my work, Mediumship readings can be so emotional, sad, and uplifting all at the same time. Seeing the deep pain and grief of the surviving family and friends as they trying to grasp reality without their loved ones is truly heart breaking. Yet, observing the eternal love that continues on from spirit, is so hopeful and amazing!
Regardless of the nature of the relationship that we had with our departed loved ones on Earth, and regardless of the ways in which they left this planet, in readings, they always come forward with messages of deep love. Messages that validate that they are very much alive, aware of our lives, and are always with us! That they are free of pain, anger, suffering, illnesses, sadness. That they are in peace and most importantly that they are NOT dead!

Grief!
Grief!
What an awful, painful, and difficult experience to go through; spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Also, it is equally heartbreaking and difficult to watch someone else that grieves, especially someone that is close to you, like a family member or a friend!
Talking to, helping, and supporting a surviving person with their grief is a crucial part of their ability to handle the loss, manage the pain, and eventually move forward without their loved one. It is obviously also a loving and a kind thing to do to another person in need.
However, in my work as a medium, as well as my volunteer work as a hospital chaplain, I come across common reactions from people that do not know how to approach, what to say, or how to help a person, a stranger, family, or friend, that experienced a loss. They mean well, and want to help, but the subjects of death is so fragile and sensitive that they are at loss of words, feel awkward, nervous to say the wrong things, afraid that by talking about it they can “hurt more than they can help”, or simply don’t want to talk about it and “rock the boat” that will stir up the pain. People are also often afraid of the grieving person’s reaction, which can be different with each person, and at times unpredictable and out of character, which in turn causes them to remain silent and say nothing!
I will do my best to cover all of it in the video so you’ll feel comfortable and have the knowledge and the tools to know how to approach, talk, and help a grieving person!

Include prayers in your every day life. Pray for yourself, for the people you love, and as equally important for humanity, for animals, and for our planet.
Prayers are not only an important spiritual concept, they are also considered to be a form of meditation. When you deeply pray, even for a short period of time, you quiet your mind and thus raise your vibration to a higher frequency which then helps you become grounded and enjoy the wonderful sensation of a successful meditation session. Simply put, you feel wonderful!
Prayers are real and very powerful. When you pray for something, for yourself, someone else, or collectively for a larger cause, you give it “life”, energetically speaking, and therefore move things forward in a positive direction.
However, when you pray, there are a few spiritual rules that you must remember.
Remain patient! The divine timing of granting your prayers has to be just right as it relates to everyone’s highest good and spiritual growth!
Also, there are larger forces that are helping you with your prayers. Don’t rush them, they know what they are doing.
Your job is to ask, then let go!
If, every day you are drilling on your prayers and they are not being answered yet, you interfere with the flow of the energy that gives your prayers life. You slow things down, or worse, interfere with the process altogether. It is like trying to hold on to a bar of soap…
Do not think exactly how your prayers should be answered, its called control!
Sometimes, the universe grants our prayers in indirect ways, different than what we have expected. In this case, different is always better!

“Its only stuff…”
“Its only stuff…”
In readings, this phrase is often expressed by departed loved ones in regard to the things that they leave behind such as clothes, jewelry, furniture, photos, etc…
Their advice is to carefully assess why you hold on to their “stuff”, especially if it is hurting your ability to move on with your grief and sadness after their passing.
The general idea is to hold on to things that remind you of the person in a positive, fun, and loving way, and therefore making you feel good. Perhaps from a time in their lives when they were happy, healthy, and content. The right photographs can do that very effectively.
At the other hand, if you hold on to things that aggravate your grief by producing negative thoughts or sad emotions such as telling yourself “my son will never wear those clothes anymore, or, my wife will never enjoy that piece of jewelry I bought her
.” You might need to give them away, specifically to people that can benefit from them such as giving clothing to the salvation army, or at least put them away for now, until a time when you feel you are stronger managing your grief.
Besides, our departed loved ones request is to contact their soul, that survived the death of the physical body, that is back home in the spirit world, and very much with us!
And although some sentimental things should be kept and cherished, the rest is just stuff that we will all leave behind one day, when we go home ourselves.

Spiritual Lifestyle
If you want to spiritually grow and enjoy all the wonderful benefits that come with it, you must create for yourself a lifestyle that supports it!
In my book, Soul Secrets, I introduced a way that can help create a spiritual lifestyle. This is an exercise that helped me over the years with my spiritual growth, spiritual path, and my ability to channel spirits.
In this exercise, you will need to use mind-body-spirit as a daily “check list” to help you gauge where you are each day in your effort to work on and maintain a spiritual lifestyle, and therefore spiritual growth.
Mind, refers to our “built in” negative energy field that I call: the Ego.
The Ego refers to the negative aspects of our personality. Our negative thoughts, actions, reactions, interactions, fears, anger, hate, jealousy, envy, superiority, or the need for drama or control. Just to name a few.
Body is self explanatory. It refers to the well being of our body, not only physically, of course, but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It has to do with how much we nurture the body (ourselves ), accept it, care for it, and love it. It also refers to how negatively or positively, we feel about ourselves, our look, our age, etc. The body has it’s own intelligence. It knows what we feel about it, and will act accordingly! If you care for it, it will be in harmony with you. If you don’t, it will retaliate!
Spirit refers to the daily effort we make on our spiritual growth.
That includes learning and gathering knowledge and information about spirituality. You can do it with spiritual and/or self help books, events, programs, etc. The effort you make to achieve a successful meditation will help you to quiet the mind which will drastically improve your life as well as activate your ability to hear spirits.
Finally, at the end of each day, you need to have a quick “meeting” with yourself. Quiet your mind for few seconds, and review the day. Evaluate the effort you made with improving your mind-body-spirit.
Evaluate how well you did with your your Ego? Were you able to discipline it? Were you aware of it’s weaknesses, especially the ones that tend to surface up over and over again, probable for many years? If anger, or the need to control is your Ego’s main weakness for example, did you try to consciously be aware of it? Did you use this awareness to change it?
The Ego is there for us to use as a tool that is supposed to help us be aware, and acknowledge what it is we need to change in order to grow.
And although it can be a nasty part of who we are, the Ego is necessary indeed for our Earthly incarnations!
How good you were to your body today? Did you try to make peace with your age, your failed past, or with what you did not accomplish yet?
Did you accept how you look and make peace with the scale? Or more importantly, did you create a new nutrition plan that will help you get to your desirable weight? How about moving your body (exercise)? Remember, one of the greatest benefits of exercise in addition to losing weight and feeling great, is that when you move the body you stimulate the Chi within it, and therefore activate the body’s ability to heal itself.
Exercise!
How was the spirit aspect of your mind-body-spirit check list?
Did you apply any action that helped your spiritual awareness and growth? Did you meditate, and if so, were you able to quiet the mind, feel relaxed and content; hear spirits? Did you continue to read that spiritual book you started, or register for that spiritual event that you were interested in?
Once you discover which one of your mind-body-spirit checklist lacked action, you will need to “tweak” it the next day.
If, for example, you feel that you were able to work on your body, internally and externally, as well as your spirit by effectively meditating, yet your negative Ego was running loose, get into action and change it!
Using the checklist of mind-body-spirit daily will gradually help you create a spiritual lifestyle that will help you climb up in growth!
Remember however, that any spiritual exercise requires time, great effort, and most of all consistency. You can not possible expect results in one week or even one month.
So be patient and stick to it!

THE ELECTIONS
I see many people who actually lose friends, fight and bicker with their spouse, and become negative and even hateful when they allow themselves to be sucked into the negativity of the election. Their Ego becomes active, creating stress, turmoil, and internal chaos for themselves.
If you are one of these people; Stop! Don’t get upset and obsess about the process, the candidates, or about people who do not mirror your own views or preferences. Choose the candidate that you like best, get involved to promote him or her, if you wish. Vote, of course, but then detach by keeping in mind some spiritual concepts.
Regardless of who our next president will be, it is important to remember that there are a lot of unseen forces and “behind the scenes” helpers, such as the Archangels and our Ascended Masters, who will help that person in their job of leading us. They will guide and govern the direction that we are headed toward and will try their best to protect our path.
Due to “Free Will” however, if our leaders who often reflect the collective spiritual awareness of the people, choose actions that are governed by their Ego, our powerful helpers will be forced to back-off and allow us to grow through the consequences of these actions. To grow through misery.
Because the bottom line is, as far as our souls are concerned, there are no good or bad leaders; there is only potential for growth! And either way, good or bad, fast or slow, easy or hard, our souls will eventually achieve their ultimate purpose of using this school like planet for growth!

The Physical Body
Over the years, the more information I channel about the physical body, the more amazed I become with the incredible “machine” that our God has created.
Our physical body has its own intelligence! It knows when we love it, accept it, and when we do, or do not, properly nurture it.
If we are in harmony with it, it cooperates with us and does what it is supposed to do to remain healthy and in balance. If we are not in harmony with it, it retaliates, with aches and pains, disorders, or illnesses, often for the purpose of “waking us up” and making us change!
There are few things you can do to create an harmonious energy within your body.
Be aware of any negative thoughts you might have about your body. Being aware of your thoughts, over and over again, will eventually take the power away from them, until they are diminished. Then, as always, you must apply action!
Change what you CAN change about your body, and ACCEPT what you can not. For example, with determination and the right nutritional program, you can lose the excess weight that you do not like and therefore make your body happy and content.
However, there is nothing you can change or do about your body getting older, other then accept and honor it for the age that it is. Accepting your age will relax your body, keep you in harmony with it, and help it, to help itself, graciously grow old.
